WAYNE COUNTY, Ind. – Parkinson’s disease affects more than movement, with evidence showing it can also impact digestion, nutrition and daily comfort.
A free viewing party of “The Gut-Brain Connection PD Symposium” will be held form 8 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, in Lingle Grand Hall at Reid Health, 1100 Reid Parkway.
Doors open at 8 a.m., with the online program beginning shortly after.
The online symposium will provide an interdisciplinary overview of the gut-brain connection, the role of the microbiome, practical nutrition strategies and a moderated question-and-answer session addressing common concerns.
