CENTERVILLE — Cope Environmental Center will host two fall events in October, offering family activities during the day and a Halloween-themed trail after dark.
The center’s Family Fall Fest is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10. The event will feature games, crafts, a hayride, and opportunities for children and families to meet animals and learn about local animal care with the Animal Care Alliance.
Admission is $10 per child age 10 and younger and includes one accompanying adult. Additional adults will pay the regular admission price.
The weekend’s activities will also include Cope’s Trail of Terror from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10. The Halloween attraction will take visitors through the center’s wooded trails, featuring scare actors, eerie sights and sounds, and other spooky elements.
The Trail of Terror is recommended for older children, teens and adults. Admission is $10 per person, and advance ticket purchases are encouraged.
Warner’s Wieners will offer food for purchase from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday during the Trail of Terror. C&W BBQ will serve food Saturday during both the Family Fall Fest and Trail of Terror.
