FAYETTE COUNTY, Ind. – Reid Health is inviting women artists from the Whitewater Valley region to submit original artwork for a new exhibition.
The exhibition is planned for the Stephen Joseph Holmes & Elizabeth Handley Holmes Art Gallery at the health system’s new Connersville campus.
The exhibition, titled “Women, Healing & Home,” will highlight artwork created by women from Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne counties. According to Reid Health, the exhibit will focus on themes including healing, home, community, hope and survivorship. The exhibit is meant to create a welcoming environment for patients.
Artists may submit up to five original two-dimensional works for consideration. Accepted media include watercolor, photography, oil or acrylic paintings, mixed media, textile art and other suitable two-dimensional artwork.
Selected works will be displayed from October 2026 through January 2027. The exhibition will coincide with the dedication of the Stephen Joseph Holmes & Elizabeth Handley Holmes Art Gallery and the Jan & Roxie Deer Mammography Suite.
Artists interested in participating must submit their work by Aug. 10. Reid Health said selected artists will be notified by Aug. 28.
