INDIANA – Reid Health is recognizing 10 team members with 2026 Nursing Excellence Awards and one additional employee with the Lance Pence Character in Nursing Award.
According to Reid Health, the honorees represent a wide range of departments across the health system and collectively bring nearly 150 years of nursing experience to the organization.
Hospital leaders said the awards recognize nurses for the exceptional level of care and compassion they provide to patients, families and communities throughout the region.
The Nursing Excellence Awards honor team members who demonstrate outstanding commitment to patient care, professionalism and service.
Danika Allen, RN, of Reid Health Connersville Emergency Services was recognized with the Lance Pence Character of nursing award. This award recognizes a nurse who exemplifies strong character and dedication within the profession.
