WAYNE COUNTY, Ind. - The Wayne County Foundation is helping direct financial support to communities recovering from severe flooding through the Wayne County Cares Fund.
"We know individuals want to help and sometimes the best help is going to be monetary donations," said Rebecca Gilliam, Executive Director of Wayne County Foundation.
This Fund was created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations to the fund will be distributed directly to communities affected by the flooding.
Contributions can be made online, in person at the foundation office or by mail.
Donors who want to support a specific community can select “designated purpose” when donating and identify the community they wish to support.
Donations can be made at https://godonate.akoyago.com/waynecf.
