(Connersville, IN)--The former treasurer of the Fayette County Free Fair Association has escaped jail time despite stealing more than $6000 from that organization last year.  Makinsey Price was arrested following a state police investigation revealed that she wrote checks for herself, transferred money to herself, and kept cash that had come in through rodeo collections.  A plea deal resulted in a year’s worth of probation to Price and an order to pay more than $6500 in restitution.
