A new grant program is offering emergency financial help to small businesses impacted by the August floods in Wayne County. The Business Bridge Grant Program will provide grants of three to five-thousand dollars to eligible businesses for expenses including payroll, rent, utilities, equipment repairs and cleanup. Businesses must have fewer than 20 employees and demonstrate flood-related damage or economic loss. Organizers expect to help about 40 to 50 businesses.
