Drivers along the I?70 corridor will see major changes starting today as construction moves into a new phase. The westbound ramp at Williamsburg Pike is set to reopen after crews demolished the old flyover and advanced work on the new roundabouts. But ramps to and from eastbound I?70 at U.S. 35 will close the same day and remain shut through late October while crews build tie?ins for the final roundabout configuration. Ramps to and from eastbound I-70 at the U.S. 35 interchange are expected to close on or after today. Traffic will also shift at U.S. 40, with eastbound drivers moving to the westbound side through year’s end. Overnight lane restrictions continue this week.
